Gentle reminder : Never leave burning incense stick unattended. Always burn incense stick in an incense stick holder with a palate to collect the ashes. Please also remember to keep ventilation open for fresh air to come in and carry the sweet fragrance around, and avoid the room to become smoky. Incense needs to be burnt in an open airy spot with sufficient ventilation. Keep away from pets and children when they are burning.

It would be interesting to know how incense sticks are made. The incense is made of a paste of the various powders of dried flower petals, sweet smelling herbs and woods, spices, resins, some charcoal which actually helps in the burning of the stick, and perfumes based on Natural Essential Oils along with water. This paste is then rolled by hand around bamboo sticks and left to dry. After drying the rolled sticks are selected, trimmed perfumed and packed. The only exception is in the case of Sandalwood, where the perfumes and essential oils are mixed in the paste itself and no further perfuming is done. Greatest care is taken to select the best and purest ingredients to ensure a very high quality of products that are wholly in conformity with IFRA (International Fragrance Association, Geneva, Switzerland).
