Irakoi takes strong efforts to help and sustain the artisan community of India, and help to improve their economic conditions.  The idea is not charity but to extend a helping hand to someone who is trying to rise up above the poverty levels. So in case, you see a weaving defect, or a missing thread, we hope you will understand the reason why.  Ours is not a business platform, but a human ground where we help each other.

Also, Irakoi is not the manufacturer of any of the products it is serving you.  Our suppliers have been observed and tested to be genuine and true to quality and to the art.  Our aim is to promote Indian Arts to our best capability. We know we need to go a long way, but this will not be possible without your kind consideration and support.  We are ready but need your guidance and encouragement. Please help us to feel motivated and undertake this marvelous journey together.

So in case, you can overlook the imperfection, we would be highly grateful and in debt to you.  You may wish to inform us so that we can take corrective steps in the future.

However, should you wish to exchange in case of a defect or damage, here is the guide to it?

  1. All exchange requests will be acknowledged if they are intimated to us through email sales@irakoi.com within 24 hours of receiving the package.  Beyond that, we will not be responsible.
  2. Please note that there will be no exchanges other than defects in the products.  Please click images of damage, in case they are visible from the packaging.  The final decision will lie with Irakoi.
  3. In case of breakage upon receiving, please let us know immediately by email with a picture of the damaged part.  Any requests received after the estimated receiving time will not be entertained.
  4. In case of wrong product sent, please intimate over email with a picture for quick replacement.
  5. In case of a return, please make sure the product is unopened and is unused.  We will not be accepting products that are opened, an example of natural perfumes and anything from particular departments like the Spiritual Category, Art Corner etc.
  6. We will not be accepting any exchange or returns from our Spiritual Category Products.
  7. For all products in the Art Corner Section, these are made by very raw indigenous artisans and they are not business minded.  Artists who try to create art without any formal education or formal training. Your understanding of this will be highly appreciated.
  8. There will be no exchange or refund on products like paintings and scrolls or any other forms of art.
  9. In case you have made a payment against a product, and do not wish to buy it, later on, please inform us immediately.  You may choose an alternative product or we can hold on to your money until the product of your choice comes up. A credit note will be issued to you over the email.
  10. There will, however, be no refunds of cash.
  11. Please note that most of our products are handmade, and there will be a slight variation to the image shown as it is not fully possible to obtain the exact same result when each the product is done individually

For Scarves & Stoles

  1. In case of any order miscommunication, please email us within 24 hours for an exchange or replacement.  Beyond that, we will not be able to help you. Please do not open the package in that case.
  2. In case of any defect in the product, please write to us, with the picture of a defect, and we will be happy to replace you with another piece.  However, if another piece is not available, please feel free to select another style and let us know with the product code. Replacement will be on us.
